Exploration Group Trip to Martin’s Organic Strawberry Farm

The cooler months are the season for Taiwan’s delicious strawberry. Farmer Martin Lin has become an expert in the development of organic strawberry production. His delicious sweet strawberries are a special treat. We will visit his Neihu greenhouse and try our hands in picking and learning about strawberries. We will also decorate cotton bags, using plants and flowers from his garden.

Afterwards we will walk to the Farmhouse Cafe for a special lunch. Martin’s brother James Lin created a special farm to table to our group. Most ingredients will be from his garden and fishponds right on the premises.

Our bus will take us to the Greenhouse to start our tour. A short walk to the restaurant will be on the stone stairs through Martin’s farm. Good walking shoes are essential, especially in wet wet weather.

After lunch, we will walk across the Baishihu suspension bridge to find our bus and return to the MRT station.

We will meet at the intersection of Zhongxiao and Dunhua, in front of Shun Chen Bakery at 9:00, please check google map below:goo.gl/0vtWj3

where we will board a bus to take us up the Neihu Hills. The cost for the bus is $300 and bag making is NT$200, strawberries will be charged by weight and will be paid directly to Martin. Lunch will be a set menu at a cost of NT $500 per person. Please select when you reserve your space.
