Venue: Special Exhibition Hall III Shihsanhang Museum of Archaeology

The figures in the 14 paintings in this exhibition reflect the artist's feelings about the mixing of cultures and identity.

Nicolas F. Shi was born in El Salvador to Chinese parents, and studied in the United States. His outstanding creative skills have won him many nominations and awards. His paintings mix the bright colors of Latin America with the harmony of traditional Chinese painting, to create powerful images. His use of color gives paintings the outline of topography, creating the illusion of depth and he has been called a Neo-pop impressionist.

Visiting WTIC members were touched and moved by the brilliant works of art.
