Event Recap
Strawberry Picking \u2013 We hand-picked fresh, organic strawberries straight from the vine.
DIY Strawberry Mochi Ball \u2013 We made delicious mochi by wrapping sweet red bean paste and a fresh strawberry in soft glutinous rice.
Lunch at Farmhouse Caf\u00e9 \u2013 We ended the day with a tasty meal at a farm-to-table restaurant.

After the cool winter months, let\u2019s welcome spring with a fun-filled day at Farmer Martin Lin\u2019s organic strawberry farm in the beautiful Bai Shi Lake mountainous area of Neihu, Taipei. Farmer Martin is a pioneer in organic agriculture and an expert in strawberry production. We\u2019ll explore his greenhouse, learn about different strawberry varieties, and pick fresh, chemical-free strawberries right off the vine!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DIY Strawberry Mochi Workshop
After picking our strawberries, we\u2019ll make two delicious strawberry mochi balls. A popular and tasty Taiwanese spring treat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lunch at Farmhouse Caf\u00e9
After our program, we\u2019ll head to Farmhouse Caf\u00e9, run by Farmer Martin\u2019s brother, for a casual Italian-style lunch featuring farm-fresh ingredients. Dishes range from NT$380\u2013$460, plus a 10% service charge. The path to the caf\u00e9 is a short but uneven walk, so wear comfortable shoes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transportation: 15-minute ride to the farm (bus leaves on time)
Cost: NT$600 (includes bus, insurance, DIY strawberry picking, and mochi-making session)
Lunch and additional strawberry purchases are paid separately.
For those buying strawberries you pick, payment is by cash based on weight, paid directly to Farmer Martin.
