Situated in the Guandu Plain, facing the Keelung river is the Nung Chan Monastery.
Established in 1975 and the home of the Dharma Drum Buddhist Foundation,
this beautiful Monastery was the vision of Master Chen yen (\u8056\u56b4\u6cd5\u5e2b),
the founder of the Dharma Drum Buddhist Group (\u6cd5\u9f13\u5c71).
The design was based on a meditation of the Buddhist Master in which he saw the temple as \u201cit is a Flower in Space, Moon in Water \u201d, so it was named the Water-Moon Monastery.
This was the second time WTIC Exploration Group visited Monastery, we were welcome by the abbot, the tasty vegetarian food to refresh our mind after the walking zen.
