Dear members,
\nHave you ever wondered why people say that music speaks to the heart in ways words cannot express? You are invited to find out in our upcoming speech “Telling Taiwan’s Love Stories Through Old Songs.”
\nWe are pleased to announce that on September 27, Jenny Chen, a researcher of Taiwanese folk and popular music, will lead us through stories to review Taiwan’s music history over the past one hundred years.
\nMrs. Chen will present to us some traditional folk music, the chosen school songs (\u5b78\u5802\u6a02\u6b4c) from the 1910’s, pop music from the 1930’s, and familiar melody from The Galaxy Stars Show (\u7fa4\u661f\u6703) as well as campus folk rock (\u6821\u5712\u6c11\u6b4c) from the 1980’s. While enjoying the music and the love stories behind these songs, the audience will also learn how music reflects social changes and cultural diversity on this beautiful island.
\nJenny Chen has an M.A. in musicology. She used to produce local music programs for National Theatre and Concert Hall and write columns and articles for the United Daily News. As a diplomat’s wife, Mrs. Chen has spent many years abroad. Since coming back to Taiwan last year, she has focused her research on modern music history of her home country, Taiwan. Presently she serves as a lecturer in Beitou Community college.

\u738b\u7dad\u771f\u5973\u58eb\uff0c\u653f\u5927\u5916\u4ea4\u7cfb\u7562\u696d\uff0c\u7814\u7a76\u6240\u5ff5\u7684\u537b\u662f\u97f3\u6a02\u5b78\u3002\u66fe\u4efb\u8077\u570b\u5bb6\u6232\u5287\u9662\u66a8\u97f3\u6a02\u5ef3\u53ca\u806f\u5408\u5831\u7cfb\uff0c\u64d4\u4efb\u904e\u7bc0\u76ee\u88fd\u4f5c\u3001\u6587\u5316\u8a18\u8005\u3001\u526f\u520a\u7de8\u8f2f\u7b49\u5de5\u4f5c\u3002\u904e\u53bb\u4e8c\u3001\u4e09\u5341\u5e74\u4f86\u4e00\u76f4\u5728\u53f0\u7063\u97f3\u6a02\u9019\u584a\u9818\u57df\u4e2d\u8015\u8018\uff0c\u66f4\u56e0\u70ba\u592b\u5a7f\u4efb\u8077\u4e2d\u83ef\u6c11\u570b\u5916\u4ea4\u5de5\u4f5c\uff0c\u59cb\u7d42\u95dc\u5fc3\u53f0\u7063\u6587\u5316\u3002<\/p>\n

2016\u5e74\u518d\u5ea6\u56de\u5230\u53f0\u7063\u5c45\u4f4f\u5f8c\uff0c\u5c07\u7814\u7a76\u7126\u9ede\u96c6\u4e2d\u5728 \uff62\u53f0\u7063\u8fd1\u4ee3\u97f3\u6a02\u53f2\uff63\u4e0a\u3002
\n\u672c\u6b21\u6f14\u8b1b\u5c07\u56de\u770b\u904e\u53bb\u4e00\u767e\u591a\u5e74\u4f86\u53f0\u7063\u97f3\u6a02\u7684\u6642\u7a7a\u5340\u584a\uff0c\u5305\u62ec : \u50b3\u7d71\u97f3\u6a02\u3001\u5b78\u5802\u6a02\u6b4c\u30011930\u5e74\u4ee3\u7684\u53f0\u8a9e\u6d41\u884c\u6b4c\u66f2\u30011960\u5e74\u4ee3\u7684\u7fa4\u661f\u6703\u53ca1980\u5e74\u4ee3\u7684\u6821\u5712\u6c11\u6b4c\u3002\u8b93\u6211\u5011\u4e00\u8d77\u5f9e\u53f0\u7063\u97f3\u6a02\u7684\u6b77\u53f2\uff0c\u89e3\u6790\u53f0\u7063\u591a\u5143\u6587\u5316\u7684\u878d\u5408\uff0c\u4e26\u9ce5\u77b0\u53f0\u7063\u4eba\u6587\u4e4b\u7f8e\u3002<\/p>\n

\u97f3\u6a02\u5beb\u5728\u6642\u9593\u7684\u6d41\u52d5\u4e2d\uff0c\u6642\u9593\u4e0d\u65b7\u6d41\u901d\uff0c\u97f3\u6a02\u537b\u7559\u4e0b\u7121\u6578\u6b61\u5531\u7684\u8a18\u61b6\u8207\u6587\u5316\u7684\u5370\u75d5\u3002\u97f3\u6a02\u53ef\u4ee5\u7642\u7652\u3001\u53ef\u4ee5\u966a\u4f34\u4e00\u751f\uff0c\u6b61\u8fce\u60a8\u4f86\u8046\u8cde\u807d\u8b1b!<\/p>\n
