Art & Culture Group Visit to National Museum of History
“Beloved Baby Carrier: Tradition and Innovation Exhibition”
2016.03.30

It is always a delight to visit the National Museum of History, not only because of the lush botanical gardens and the beautiful lotus pond in the summer, but the exhibitions that often have an educational and cultural significance.

“Beloved Baby Carrier-Tradition and Innovation” is indeed a very heartwarming exhibition. It’s not about a personal endeavor to preserve and collect beautiful ethnic items, but a grandeur vision to link the past with the present, to observe a unique part of human civilization, and allow visitors to be moved by the bond between a mother and her children.

Mrs. Christi Lan Lin told us that quite a few elementary school teachers brought students to view this exhibition.  It is important to let younger generations understand the importance of family values, and how toddlers were pampered by their parents in the old times.

The part of the exhibition featuring works from the designers of the Department of Textiles and Clothing at Fu Jen Catholic University and Les enphants are simply classic! One can also be immersed in the colorful Life Tree Installation Art down in the third exhibition hall.

If you haven’t seen this exhibition, do grab the chance and see it before it closes on April 10th!

Pleae bring your WTIC name tag with you, thank you!
