The 2013 Annual Registration Luncheon

The WTIC held its annual registration luncheon on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at Regent Taipei. The luncheon started with the Hand-Over Ceremony. The out-going President Bess Shih made her speech to express appreciation for the boards, the chairs of the interest groups and the members of the working committees for their devotion and all the members for their support during her term. The Executive Supervisor Julie Chien thanked Bess's dedication to the club and introduced the in-coming President, Queeny Lin, to the members. The newly-elected President Queeny Lin deliverd her installation address confidently and promised to fulfill her duty to strive to achieve the goals of WTIC.

Entertainment followed. Members sang Christmas carols, which were conducted by Professor Liu Mei Jen. Professor Lin Wen Gun, a tenor singer, performed beautiful pieces, and Pianist Cho Fu Chien played a lovely series of Christmas songs. The members of the Salsa dancing group performed Samba, the highlight of the event consisted of colorful costumes and vibrant dancing. One hundred and twenty-seven members attended this event, renewed their memberships, elected board members, witnessed the Hand-Over Ceremony and celebrated Christmas. The luncheon provided an opportunity to foster friendship among the members as well.
