Din Tai Fung XiaoLongBao Demonstration

The 2012 second cooking demonstration was held at Din Tai Fung, the restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 2010. Din Tai Fung is renowned for its precise 18 pleated signature pork XiaoLongBao. A hands-on workshop given by the head chef to try the famous 18 pleats was the highlight of the day.

Lunch menu: steamed dumplings (XiaoLongBao) with 3 different kinds of stuffing, stir-fry cabbage, crunchy Taiwanese lettuce, shrimp and egg fried rice, choice of steamed chicken or beef soup, tasty steamed red bean rice cake.
