Registration Luncheon Dec. 4, 2007



WTIC’s annual Registration Luncheon also known as the Christmas Luncheon Party was held on the 4th of Dec. 2007 at the Regent Hotel in Taipei, 146 members participated. Many creative artistic works made by the members themselves from different interest groups were exhibited there. We were pleased to see that two major procedures of this important meeting were equally achieved: the election of the new Board of Supervisors and Directors and the transition of the Presidency. President Siao-yue Chang has been assigned to be the Representative to the U.K., and Mme. Chi-hsuan Li Hou will continue to lead WTIC to a prosperous future.

We have not only invited the Cantaren Chamber singers to sing beautiful songs for us, the demonstration of the fruit of Chinese Conversation group also lightened up the heart of our guests. Our own members dressed up as fashion models wearing Chinese costumes and jewelries. Although they were all amateurs, the performance was quite professional. Finally, the program culminated in a chorus, including several well-known Christmas carols. All the guests present felt Christmas was already here. Right after the program, a delicious and bountiful buffet was served. Members, regardless of old or new all enjoyed a memorable annual luncheon.
