In addition to the painting analysis and guided tour, the curator and Art Director, Mr. Yang Xiwen, delivered a PPT lecture on “The Latest Trends in Contemporary Global Art Investment.”
After enjoying the light lunch, members who answered questionnaire questions correctly received Wu’s painting notebooks to take home.

Dear Members,
While most of us remain grounded yet dream of taking flights to see the great museums abroad in the age of the epidemic, we are truly fortunate to be able to see the most notable Spanish Surrealist Salvador Dali and Czech Art Nouveau master Alphonse Mucha- two iconic artists’ works being shown just across the hallway from each other. Dali’s exhibition includes a short film he created in collaboration with Walt Disney, sculptures, stage designs, and the 100 watercolors he painted inspired by the Divine Comedy. You can also catch Dali’s famous 1979 oil painting: “In Search of the Fourth Dimension”, which features the “melting clock” that Dali is most known for.
Alphonse Mucha’s “Timeless Mucha- Mucha to Manga: the Magic of Line” exhibition consists of five sections. There are more than 200 painting, posters, decorative panels, pastels, drawings and illustrations selected by the Mucha Foundation. A distinctive feature of Mucha’s style was his use of long tendrils of hair, flowers, plants and flowing garments to portray women. He produced many paintings, illustrations, advertisements and designs. For more info: https://www.alfonsmucha.org/biography.html
We are very thankful to collaborate with our dear Consulting Advisor Ms. Lisette Lou to combine these two exhibitions in one visit, and there will be English & Chinese guided tours for both exhibitions. Because these are two separated exhibitions, we will need time to arrange the audio devices; we kindly ask you to follow your group closely and not stray too far. Dear Members,
This special exhibition is truly the major event of the year! These three large hanging silk scrolls classified as “National Treasures” were last displayed together 10 years ago. Besides the three Northern Song period “monumental” style of landscape paintings, nine other famous paintings-ranging in date from the Yuan dynasty to the Republican period, were chosen to demonstrate the great influence of these three masterpieces that extends years beyond creation.
There are quite a few informative videos about these paintings; please do check them out:
We are extremely lucky to have invited two NPM veteran specialists: Ms. Lisette Lou, who has served as Senior Executive Officer to 7 terms of NPM Directors, and Ms. Connie Tseng, who will be our English and Chinese tour guide. After viewing “A Trio of National Treasures” Exhibition; if time allows, we could also see the exhibition on Pu Hsin-yu’s paintings & calligraphy in the nearby galleries.
Please RSVP to this email before Monday, November 1st.
On November 10th, we will meet in front of the ticket booth on the 1st floor of the Exhibition Hall 1. It will take some time to purchase the tickets and rent the audio tour system, please arrive around 13:30 pm so we can start the tour at 14:00 sharp, and please prepare the exact change and remember to return your audio device to me or our work team if you have to leave early. Thank you so much for your cooperation.
